Andrea and Ryder are high-school sweethearts, which automatically makes them one of my favorite couples ever. These two have been together for SO long, and their wedding day was such a celebration of this new journey they were starting as a MARRIED couple (at last!). The forecast on their late-June wedding called for scattered thunderstorms most of the afternoon. Andrea and Ryder both dreamed of an outdoor ceremony on the Linwood Estate lawn, surrounded by lush greenery, but the forecast was threatening those plans with every updated radar.

About an hour before their first look, a HUGE thunderstorm rolled through. Loud cracks of thunder and lightning were heard as torrential rain poured down on the property. Everyone was on their phones, checking the radar and hoping it would show an update that the storm would soon be over. No sooner did it start that we saw blue skies in the distance. And then sunshine!! It was truly a miracle. Ten minutes before their first look the sun came out fully and the only sign of the storm were some tree branches scattered on the ground and some rain puddles. Miraculously enough, their ceremony site stayed mostly dry and there was NO mud.  These two got to have the outdoor ceremony of their dreams, when just a few hours later everyone was scrambling to decide on a plan B. We all couldn’t believe it, but we were thrilled.

The rest of the day went off without a hitch and BOY was it beautiful. Seeing every single detail come together for Andrea and Ryder was just the best – their beloved dog, Sailor, even made an appearance on the cutest cocktail napkins ever (see the photo below!). Their custom built ceremony arch was decorated beautifully with white florals and so much greenery, which perfectly matched the beautiful ceremony setting. The reception had such an air of celebration, which was the sweetest thing to experience. SO many people came to love on these two as they begin their next stage of life as husband and wife.
