Sometimes, in the middle of a busy wedding season, I like to plan a session just for the heck of it. For ME. For FUN. While it may seem crazy to add one more thing to my plate during this busy season of life, it does my creative soul *so much good* to just create beautiful images and have total control over the location, outfits, vibe, etc. I had been dreaming up a floral dress/sunset/field session for a couple months now and I could not be happier with these final images!
My “models” were Caroline and Zach. Caroline had reached out to me a few months back about modeling for me, and I knew I wanted to get her + her husband, Zach, in front of my camera! I’ve known Caroline since we were teenagers working together at Dutch Wonderland (and we had so much fun reminiscing on “the good ‘ole days” during this session, ha!), so it was great getting to see each other again + getting to meet her sweet husband. These two have been married for 2 years, now, and are an absolute DREAM to photograph. I had to use so few prompts while posing them; they just naturally melted together and made each other laugh at just the right moments. I could have photographed these two all night!
The images below are some of my favorite couple’s portraits I have ever taken. These photos embody exactly what I want the JBP brand to convey…sweet, romantic, SO joyful…ah, my heart has all sorts of warm and fuzzy feelings pulling together this blog post! Enjoy my absolute favorites below…
