Oh my goodness. What an honor and a joy it is to share Nancy and Sam’s wedding day! As soon as I got their initial wedding inquiry, I just knew I needed to work with these two. After getting to know Nancy through email and finally getting to meet both of them at their engagement session, there was no doubt that their wedding day was going to be one of my favorites ever. And you know what? I was TOTALLY right.
Their wedding day at Landis Valley Museum in Lancaster, Pennsylvania was nothing short of perfection. The entire week leading up to their wedding, rainstorms and gloomy weather were in the forecast (I swear, this has been the rainiest wedding season ever). The threat of rain never dampened their spirits, though, and even when their planned outdoor ceremony got moved inside, these two were all smiles. After all, this was their WEDDING DAY and absolutely nothing could steal their joy!
Nancy and Sam shared in the absolute sweetest first look (totally teared up from behind my camera, as usual) and built in so much time into their timeline for portraits. I’m telling you, these two are just the best! The rain held off long enough for us to get ALL of their portraits and wedding party photos outside before it started to rain right before the start of their ceremony – such a blessing! Their reception was nothing short of an epic party, complete with a pizza truck catering dinner (!!!) and an awesome run-through-tunnel send-off. The most magical day, indeed.
